Late Blight Potato Tomatoes

Late Blight Update

Late blight has been detected on a few potato plants in one field in Elgin county.

Recent weather has been conducive for disease with consistent rains and mild overnight temperatures. If you haven’t already applied a late blight specific fungicide, you should do so now. Ensure new growth remains protected. Visit the Ontario Crop Protection Hub to view registered late blight specific products on potatoes and tomatoes.
