Georgian Central SCIA is hosting a Compaction Day on Thursday July 16th at Tupling Farms in Redickville ON.
Come on out to see compaction demonstrations with all kinds of farm equipment including potato planters and harvesters. Education stations include:
- Cover Crops – Plot demonstrations including drone seeding and discussion on covers and compaction with mixes relevant to potatoes
- Tire Configurations – New technology, common tire failure factors, optimizing your system and ballasting
- Manure Management – Addressing compaction concerns while spreading
