Wanted! Colorado potato beetle

Dr. Ian Scott, Research Scientist with the Southern Crop Protection and Food Research Centre at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in London, is continuing his survey of Colorado potato beetle tolerance levels to various neonicotinoid insecticides.

What does he need?  He is looking for approximately 150 beetle adults per sample.  If you have a few you can spare, please contact Dr. Jeff Tolman and he will arrange for someone to come out right away and take some beetles off your hands.  If you are outside of southwest/south central Ontario, he will send you a collection kit.

Contact:  Dr. Jeff Tolman at (519) 457-1470 (ext. 232) or jeff.tolman@agr.gc.ca.
