The 2011 Ridgetown Vegetable Open House will be held on Thursday, August 11. Participants have a choice of an afternoon or evening tour: 1:30 – 4:30 pm or 6:00 – 9:00 pm.
The tour will begin at the Ridgetown Campus tomato breeding plots at the corner of Selton Line and Howard Road (at 1:30 or 6:00 pm). The tour will proceed to the plots off Victoria Road, North of Gosnell Line (at 2:15 or 6:45 pm). Look for the signs for where to enter these locations. The tour will move to wagons on campus in Ridgetown (at 2:45 or 7:15 pm, park beside the RDC building), and will wrap up with refreshments in Willson Hall.
