Landscape Ontario and OMAFA are providing a FREE one-hour training workshop on Spotted Lanternfly (SLF) at two locations in the Windsor/Essex region on August 19th.
Never heard of spotted lanternfly? Great – we want you there! Heard about it but have no idea how it relates to your green industry business? Well, what a great opportunity to come figure out what the fuss is about and how you can help with early detection of this new pest.
This hands-on workshop will have you ready to correctly identify this pest, know how to report it, where to look for it, and more. The workshop is relevant to those who work in garden centres, nurseries, landscaping businesses, grounds maintenance, or as green industry professionals such as arborists, master gardeners, municipal or parks staff, and more!

Afternoon Session: Colasanti’s Tropical Garden
3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
