Non-agricultural source materials – Plan Developer’s Course

November 17-18, Paris Fairgrounds

This two-day course is designed for individuals interested in developing Non-Agricultural Source Materials (NASM) Plans for agricultural operations. This course helps you become familiar with the Nutrient Management Act, Regulation and Protocols and Odour Guide and examines how they relate to a NASM plan, its development and ongoing management requirements. It includes practical examples and group activities to reinforce the concepts. This course is a requirement for the Non-Agricultural Source Materials Plan Development Certificate.

You will be given information on:

  • NASM categories
  • Sampling and analysis requirements
  • Land application standards for NASM
  • Storage requirements for NASM
  • NASM plan preparation
